Recommendations:
The following
recommendations are based on three days live interaction between
grass-root workers having self experience, judges having legal aspects in
mind, institutions dedicated to Goseva, scientists and experts. The
recommendations have been grouped under five headings:
- Education
to Masses:
-
People should be educated about Goseva and Goraksha. It should be
based more on scientific and economic aspects of cow rather than
sentiments and emotions. This should be done through seminars, which
should be organized in rural areas. A vigorous approach is necessary.
-
Education of bureaucrats is necessary so that correct information,
statistics and intensity of public opinion is properly placed before the
Govt. and the Courts. Keeping these objectives in view, right type of
literature should be planned, published and distributed to all the
bureaucrats involved in policy making and decision making process.
- Special articles, authentic information, scientific aspects on cow
and
her progeny should be regularly published in important All
India newspapers, telecast and broadcast on television and radio in English
and local languages. An aggressive approach is necessary to generate
awareness among people.
