PROCESS OF MAKING GARBAGE IN TO MANURE

Garbage is:

What we all produce?  What we all throw out. What we all take little notice of.

But do we know what we are losing out on by that?

We are losing out on

  • Health
  • Clean surroundings
  • And a valuable resource.

What we can do about this?

Well, even with the Existing system of garbage clearance, with a little effort, we need not lose out on this.

Here is how

Ensure that the garbage collected from your colony is dumped at a common place.

Ask the cleaner to spray this garbage with 5% microbial slurry every day.

This should done for seven days, in the evening with water spray in the morning.

On the eighth day, let him turn the garbage well, using the shovel.

This cycle should be repeated once more, i.e., let him add garbage for another once a week to the same dump and the heap should be turned in the
14'th day for the next coming week the treatment with slurry should be done on alternate days.

On the 22nd day, part of the garbage will have turned into rich manure.

Let the glass, plastic and other large pieces of non-degraded material be removed.

The manure that remains can be used directly in gardens for flowering plants, trees, etc.
